I plan to do a performance art dance as part of the big protests for immigration rights at Union Park on May 1 in Chicago..starting at 9am. Union Park is on Ashland and Lake Sts, just off the CTA green line route. The name of this dance is called the "GOIN' GUIDANCE JOY DANCE".
 
I also plan to go to the May Day Party at the Heartland Cafe, 7000 N. Glenwood Ave., at 8pm Monday night, on May 1 as well....as well as see a local jamband called MWC at the Red Line Tap, a venue just next to Heartland Cafe. Both places are accessible to the CTA Red Line (at the
"Morse" stop).

WELCOME TO CHARLES JOSEPH SMITH'S HOME OF JOY AND PLEASURE!!!

While I was on campus at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in 1995-2003, I realized that there was
a retro-hip culture among some of the students there. They
showed off their wares through improvised house parties
and get-togethers, trying to re-enact the heyday of the
hippies of the 1960s. And I seemed to enjoyed some of their
house parties a lot since their protocol was much more
relaxed then it would in traditional or formal parties.

And as a result, I made some quick friends in the process.
I like the fact that I can show off with a lot of unusual
things. For example, I had made up some puns on words, and
I show it to you just like this:

(TO) BEET--to fall in love with Beethoven's music
(TO) BEVERLY--to shake your long hair to and fro
BEVERLY--a person with curly hair representing the style of past operatic diva Beverly Sills
BOW!--a reactionary short after one suffers a 'snapping hip'.
CURTIS--a very attractive man
DO YOU LIKE MY LINDEN?--do you like my dancing?
FOOMED--to be startled by a loud boom
FOUR FLEER--a person with the silkiest fingers
FOUR FLEERLIN--a person making eye-contact with another beautiful person
GEIL!--a interjection used as a shout during making love
GOIN' FOUR--to do a French kiss in a full embrace chest-to-chest
GOIN' GUIDANCE--to dance with a beautiful guy or by yourself
GOIN' GUILDER---a person who is very attractive to you and makes you smile
HAM!--an expression of disappointment
I FEEL JUST LIKE A SUSAN!--said when one's so happy
I LIKE TO GOIN' GUIDANCE FOUR FLEERLIN--to like to be dancing dirty
JACQUELINE--a lady with the longest blond hair
LINDEN--a wonderfully attractive dame
LINDIE LINDA--a person you already had laid in bed passionately with.
LISTEN TO MY JACOBSEN--to come intimately close
PERCY--a man in a business attire, or preferably, with no suit; just a shirt

SUSAN--a girlfriend or steady dance partner

I did a press release by myself in a form of a bio that
embraces the retro-hip culture I experienced for three years.

Quite jazzy, isn't it? Well, this background music is still another of my compositions, called "I'm Goin' To Be a Model". I composed the music on a Master Tracks Pro sequencer with tracks for drums, bass line, and jazz organ. The style for this music is a cross between smooth jazz and fusion.
